AVGEN Ltd traces its roots to the vibrant island of Antigua. Our story begins with our founder, David Boorman, whose professional journey led him to the Caribbean, where he became immersed in insurance-related matters for the Prime Minister of Antigua. It was during this time that David got involved with “The Spirit of Antigua”, his passion for sailing yachts with an emphasis on performance and beauty, would inspire the foundation of our company.
David’s connection to the sea deepened as he assumed the role of skipper aboard a magnificent 108-foot catamaran, bearing the same name, it felt like fate. This experience solidified his passion for the marine world and laid the groundwork for AVGEN Ltd’s commitment to providing exceptional insurance solutions for the marine industry.
